I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and love the outdoors. I have always been a creative, an artist. Over the years I’ve found some interesting ways to express this God-given gift. In grade school I illustrated my assigned reports! I create handmade, hand painted and hand lettered cards for friends and family. I was a potter, selling at weekend fairs and I paint occasionally. I worked for a newspaper as part of a team creating display ads and putting the weekly paper together. I also worked for a printer as a Prepress Artist doing desktop publishing creating newsletters, flyers and even books. This grew into becoming a commercial printer myself and opening my own print shop, continuing to learn about paper types and equipment, purchasing an amazing digital press that gives me the quality I know my clients want. I’ve been able to add bindery equipment to give what I print that extra special touch at the end that sets it apart. I also work with self publishing authors, designing their book pages and covers. One of my greatest joys though is working with designers like Kirsten and Jessica. Their design work is fresh and unique and thoughtful and always amazes me!
